Crush it!! You are your only competition - it is so important to push yourself and try new/scary things on this journey. Getting there last is 110% better than not trying. Great work.

Keep doing that type of activity whenever you can— great for you both mentally and physically. Good job.

My son lives north of Denver, in Longmont. He does lots of bicycling and skateboardig and dirt bikes. He is anxious for me to get into some healthy exercise too. I am 73 years old.

Sugarplum. All you have to do is keep walking, start some type of exercise program and do some beginning strength training to not only help you become stronger but muscle burns calories. Check into programs at the YMCA or a local senior center. GOOGLE a senior walking group in your area. Lots of things you can do that are not expensive and that also provides great socialization. Even if you don’t swim, a pool is a good place to exercise, have socialization and much less risk of injury for people who are just starting out. So we are older. No big deal. We can always take steps to improve our personal health situations. If you have medical issues you can always run your ideas past your doc. Best of luck. Keep us posted how you do.
