Ok, so I took a "day off" yesterday - urged on by my evil husband - LOL. And you know what? This morning I feel nauseous. I feel like I might throw up! And I think it's because my body doesn't WANT crap in it anymore. I didn't go super-overboard, but I had two fried chicken breasts and some SBD Phase III brownies and some waffles in the AM - strike that, I guess I did go overboard! LOL Back to the diet today! I'm going to try to do mostly Phase I for dinners and probably for breakfast and then Phase II at lunch so I can have sandwiches - wheat pita.

And I REALLY need to get my drinking under control. I drink wine during the week and I need to NOT drink ANY during the week. How will I lose weight doing that??? DUH. Willpower, baby! I do NOT need the glass of wine to deal with my crazy kids, now do I? LOL So goal is to not drink at all Sun-Thursday and to just have a couple/few glasses on the weekend. I love my wine too much to go cold-turkey. ;-)

Off to do some more laundry...

You know, I think I may be sabatoging myself. Well, at least yesterday. I had under 1000 calories - DUH - and I know that causes you to retain weight b/c your body goes into calorie-retaining mode (starvation mode, I think it's called). I remember long ago when I was dieting that if I ate low calories one day it would take me eating a lot a few days later for my weight to start dropping. I need to make sure my calorie count is up, even though looking at low calorie counts makes you feel "good." Strange how it works. And since I need to start working out I need the extra calories!

I also joined my company's shape-up competition. I started a team! I invited my department and a friend to join me because you can have 5-11 members. I got a good response and I'm really excited! It starts in March and should be enough motivation to get me really started. I'd like to start running again but I'm not sure my knees can handle it. I guess I'm getting old! LOL If it was warmer I'd love to take the baby on walks during lunch, but that's not possible right now so I need to get my Wii fit hooked up! I have a treadmill, too, so there's really NO EXCUSE. ;-)

Oh, and I'm noticing that my 3-time C-section belly is getting smaller! YAY! I was still looking pregnant in that area. Ewwww. Now to get to the abs work. I used to have great abs, so I definitely think they can get better than they are now. Ick.
