WOWZA! I lost 4.5 pounds!!!! I probably should have waited 'till Monday, but I couldn't resist. And even if it's just "water weight," I don't care! This is the least I've weighed since Jordan was born. I'm so excited!!! :D

Day 1 down. I think I did pretty well, but it sure is a pain to make everything from scratch! My husband and the kids LOVED the chicken parmesan (South Beach Diet Turkey Parmesan recipe that I changed to chicken). I wish they had the recipes in the food search so you could add them that way, but oh well. It always surprises me how much better REAL food tastes. I'd been eating way too much processed/boxed, etc. food. The salad I had for lunch was especially yummy since I had really really RIPE tomatoes in it. MMMMMMM.
Off to another day and figuring out WTH to make tomorrow. LOL

I just got back from Bloom where I did my SBD shopping. I haven't had this much FRESH food in my kitchen in FOREVER! Back to cooking. While doing this diet in the past, I discovered I'm a pretty decent cook, so I'm looking forward to it again. It takes a lot of time but in the end is so worth it.
I have dinner meals picked out to cook for 7 days, so I'm hoping that'll help. Having 3 young children makes it hard to do much of anything, so I'll probably make double portions and have the leftovers for lunches.
Off we go!!!

So last night the hubby & I went out for a "last meal before Phase I of SBD" dinner. I ate WAY too much, drank WAY too much and basically felt like crap this morning. Then I couldn't get out to the store this morning so I've pushed back my start day to tomorrow. I'm excited to start but I also know that Phase I is very, very hard and I end up getting headaches & feeling really tired from it. But it's worth it in the end! The previous times I've been on it I've lost about 8 lbs. in the first two weeks - and I don't care if it was just water weight! LOL
Since having my 3 kids, my weight distribution has changed drastically. I used to hate my legs b/c I thought my thighs were too big, but now all my weight is in my waist/tummy area. Talk about muffin top! GAH! It's horrible! And lately my upper-abdomen area is puffing out too! I'm hoping I'm just retaining, but it's really gross. If I let my tummy out I still look pregnant!!!
Ok, enough ragging on myself. I'm just sick of tailoring everything I wear around whether it shows my bulging tummy or not. You know?
