Day 1 was really very easy. I was not hungry & ate very well. Tried 2 new recipes MIM & Chicken w/ rosemary Roasted Veggies. Tim (my husband not on Atkins but supportive) loved the dinner & took the left overs in his lunch.
Water is something I need to track. I'm not sure how much I had yesterday. I read 1/2 your body weight which would be 91 oz. WOW that is alot. Thats almost 6 glasses. I think now that I have it all calculated I can do it. But I will tick mark on the fridg just to be sure.
MIM is very good for me as I like the breads. I think for lunch today I will try a savory MIM with garlic powder & parmesan cheese. I want to top it with chedder cheese, roast chicken, avacodo, cucumber, tomato & mayo.
Exercise will be another challange for me as I am very out of shape. I like the calculator here. It shows that even little things add up. I got a pedometer & want to start walking. I will go to Fit-4-Christ on saturdays thats 2 miles + prayer & fellowship. I will start with around the block today & record my steps. I read 3000 steps a day is a good goal. Thats what I will set my goal for 3000 steps a day. If I wear the pedometer I can track haow I'm doing @ the end of each day.
I feel good about this NEW start.
