Day 11 lectin free yesterday--first day I felt really healthy! Ate really well, followed the protocol, was energized. Minimal back pain.
THEN, Day 12 lectin free, today, got up in tremendous lower back pain. I don't know where it came from--I did more sitting than lately--stuffing envelopes 2 hours & on Zoom meeting for hour and half last night.
I can't stand the up and down, but I will tolerate it, and maintain my lectin free diet. I even prepped some LF party-like foods that I will take to the Socially Distant Soiree tomorrow afternoon. But standing for 2 hours this morning was hard.
Keep going, you are halfway to the goal line!

Day 9 - Lectin free
Started having food cravings for all kinds of lectin full foods! Been continuously hungry for the last two days. When I prepped food on Monday this week, wanted to eat everything I was making all in one day! So I slowed down on prepping everything on Sunday for the week. Only made things I needed for the first 3 days. Fortunately, I still had some of my "diet" food already done from last week.
Either way, my weight is at a plateau again, and I'm not sure if this is how it's supposed to be, or if my body is not cooperating. I'll stick with it for 2 1/2 more weeks to see where I land. Today I'm not feeling hopeful about my health or my weight loss. I'm enjoying the recipes and the journey...

Day 7 yesterday was good for food, but had lots of pain in standing and prepping my week's food, so I only did what I needed for today, Monday. My back pain was so bad by day's end, I resorted to lidocaine pain patches before I went to bed. Was trying not to take any Advil--bad for my lectin free diet.
Today, Monday, pain has subsided a little, but know tomorrow I will schedule chiropractor, and hope that with two visits this week this back pain and headache will go away. Looking forward to Week 2 meals on lectin free diet!

Yay!
In two weeks (1 week just cutting back, other week on lectin free WOE), I have lost 6 lbs. Feeling better and better each day on lectin free food.
Will keep at it! Here's to health and good weight loss!

Day 5 -- weight still being stubborn, but I feel better today. Concentrated on making Chicken with Vegetables on sheet pan (was amazing!), and Garlicky Green Soup to freeze for next weeks meals. Also, rearranged my fridge since yesterday's run to Whole Foods made me have an overflow of organic produce. I let it chill in the ice chest overnight, found places for all after I made my foods.
Still sticking with lectin free WOE, 5 days in--think I can do it.
Joyful things--got to see my 3 youngest grands this morning--Harrison, Radley, & Callen. Hadn't seen them since mid-February! I've been missing them and all my grands and their parents for so long, that I may have to go visit them or meet outdoors for a picnic. I love them so!
