I've been thinking a lot about hugs lately. There is such a wide variety of them. You have the family ones that are nice and have no judgement to them (ooh she's getting bigger/softer/flatter). The grandbaby hugs (around the neck, sometimes painful). The friend (one armed, haven't seen you in a while). The virtual that I have received here. They are all wonderful and I would not give them up for the world. Frankly my goal now is to have a romantic hug and in order for me to get that I have to feel better about myself. So that is my new goal. A HUG. Or as Queen Latifah and Valerie Bertinelli would say, I will be a size huggable.
Now that I have found my ultimate goal prize I need to get back on track. I want to have a dip in my weight chart by the first of August so I am going to have to start being dedicated and actually exercise. I have shopped and have my food ready so that will make life easier. I have read many journals and received a lot of encouragement so I am ready to start again. I have bought different clothes (not smaller, just less boring) so I feel better about my appearance. I have arranged to have a week off and even though I am going nowhere I am not going to work so that will help mentally. Yep, I'm ready.
