woo hoo phase 2!! i had lite yogurt for breakfast and an apple for my mid morning snack. it was heaven!!! i am so over eggs!! tomorrow i am going to have cereal for breakfast! man i am way too excited about this.

It is great to move into phase 2. Just be careful and do it slowly. sometimes people get too excited, add too much in too quickly, and end up gaining. Most of us added one phase 2 food each day, some even added only one new phase 2 food each week. to see how we react to it. Everyone's different though. Good luck and enjoy.

the book recommends 1 item per day per week...sometimes you will have to play with the time of day you eat certain things...good luck and congrats on making it to phase 2

Yes, please slow down a tiny bit there. The point now is to add one at a time so that if you have a gain in a few days, you'll be able to pin point which food caused it and kick it out of your pantry! Also, some carbs will have you hold weight others help you lose weight some cause you to gain...or like me, even stomach upset. This is a GREAT chance to find out exactly what foods help you lose weight and keep you healthy. OH, oh, ooooh...ALSO very important...SOME CARBS even though permitted, will give you cravings. By adding one at a time, one every few to several days (I did one a week) you will know which foods satisfy you and which make you feel hungry. Even though I eat them now, but I know to expect it...flavored yogurt makes me crave sweets and I want to eat all day long! I would know this if I had several new things that week. I avoided flavored yogurt until I knew I could handle the cravings that come along with it. Its kind of like my sweet treat now, but I only buy one container at a time so I dont set myself up for something bad. lol You see though...one new food a week will really teach you what does what for your body. You're doing awesome, keep up the excellent work!

HA HA you sound like me..watch out..I couldn't stick to the the diet because I would go crazy on carbs every time I got to level two. Once I gained 8 pounds in two days just from eating more fruit and bread, Talk about depressing! listen to Immluvd, she knows her stuff!!
