Yesterday I went Off Diet because of a lovely invitation for lunch at a friend's home, with 8 other guests present. My hostess is an artist; that was abundantly clear in the table she set and the presentation of the food. I'll attempt to log that food: salmon patties with a wonderful sauce that included avocado; a gloriously colorful mixed salad that included mango; fresh baked bread; and for dessert, home made French apple tart. We drank water with lemon or fresh honey sweetened tea. It was relatively light for a menu for entertaining, and food, ambience and people were wonderful.
In spite of that and of Labor Day excesses, I'm holding steady. I need to focus on the next week and hope to drop another pound. Steady as she goes.
