D1srupta's Logboek, 10 mrt 16

I've decided to give ketosis a try again as it seemed to work well before. The testing strips I have been using have been telling me that I have only been produce trace amounts of ketones. I am starting to feel the affects now, and the testing strips are now showing a "moderate" score instead of "trace" which tells me that it is starting to work.

Today was to be a zero carb day, but apparently the chicken I ate today had a trace amount of carbs. I think I will survive, but it is my understanding that getting knocked out of ketosis is always a possibility and that I need to really monitor my intake to prevent that from occurring. Especially considering how I feel now, which is sluggish with low energy.

Either way, I am at the lowest I have been in years, so there is that!
