I have joined this to try to lose weight as well as control my sodium intake. I had heart failure last month, and now I am trying to strengthen my heart as well as keep my sodium below 2000. It's harder than I thought!! I would also like to lose weight so my heart doesn't have to work so hard. I am now 149 lbs at 5'4" and would like to be at 130 lbs. I found that I was over my sodium before I even had a 1000 calories in. So, I have decided to be vigilant . I do not want to have a pacemaker implanted as well as a defibrillator. I only have to increase my EF by 5%. I know it's possible.
