There is a quite a possibility of that, I know that when they put me on mass steroids (in an attempt to save my eyesight to my right eye) that I lost almost 2 pounds. Apparently I have a lot of inflammation at all times 🤷 and steroids reduce inflammation so when I was on the mass steroids the inflammation reduced causing a temporary weight loss. So it is indeed possible that you will drop the weight again when you're back on your diuretic. Don't forget that keeping measurements is also a helpful tool to give you a better idea of where you're at when the scale is being misleading. I find that helpful because I can change weights drastically very quickly due to water retention and then loss.
