Unintentionally going WAY beneath my RDI yesterday did indeed pay off! Maybe my body was trying to clue me in. lol

The FS RDI is a maintenance number, not a weight loss one. I'd look around online for an accurate formula (one that factors in your height, age, goal weight, and activity level). You can change the RDI to whatever you want.

I did actually use the FS "calculate" tool for my RDI and it gave me 2100 for weight loss. The fact that staying under 200 calories actually did something, imho, is a sign that I did something right. Albeit unintentionally. lol

Are you using the RDI on FS? For me it definitely wouldn’t work. I know from a study at a hospital years back, and the number way off. When I stay in certain range it works, but not nearly close to the high FS # Good luck and stay here, good place to be.

Yeah, I think I might adjust it from 2100 to 1500... the number does seem high asf. But I don't think I could live on less than 200 calories for an extended period of time, that would REALLY screw my body up. Maybe I'll try this fasting app another user suggested me? Forgot their name off the top of my head but I'll give 'em props if and when I remember.

1200-1500 would work, especially since you're fighting against the hormones. Watch your diet, too, since HRT can cause your BP and cholesterol to go through the roof. Lower on the sodium, lower on saturated fats. You can customize your tracking on the website by going into your settings and checking off options.
