Could it be just a fluctuation? Those happen. It's not uncommon for my weight to bounce up a couple of pounds in one day, then back down the next

muscle gain always sends the numbers up. compare how you look a feel. weight measurement can be helpful, but slso discouraging if we don't remember all the wonderful healthy things going on

Salt - that did it to me - salt - everyone tries to blame the water but ... check out the sodium level and I would bet that there is a correlation. Good morning Siegels

If you know it makes no sense, then don't get frustrated. You have one of the most athletic builds on fs. Even when you feel bad you look great!

When someone is a healthy weight already, I believe progress photos (clear light, plain background, no posing, front, side and back, no enhancements) are better than driving yourself crazy with these few pounds of scale weight. Photos will tell you if you're getting fatter or more muscular.

Ur consistently in fluctuation, Siegels...not necessarily a bad thing & certainly nothing to worry abt with ur overall track record. Ur big pic is fine🤙🏽

Acomander, thank you for all your support and advocacy on behalf of everyone who is trying to feel better physically, and feel better about themselves. Oats, I didn't take offense. Although I did look back to see progress pics. It's not something that I would feel great about right now. As I'm aging, how I look is a more challenging metric than either how my clothes fit or what the scale says. Either way, thanks for your suggestion.

Glad you didn't take offense, Siegels. Yes, it was just an idea since it appeared the scale wasn't reflecting your efforts. I hope you find the right metric.

I’m up nearly three pounds this month. Must be muscle. Idk. Hope it is. Definitely not fat. Pants that were tight on my calves two months ago were lose yesterday!! NSV? Scale is only one measure and one of the least significant for those of us in maintenance!! 💪🏻💪🏻
