My effort in January to lose the 3 kg I gained over Christmas was a failure in fact I ended January up a further 1kg heavier. So it's time for me to start calorie counting on the food calendar again. Cakes and biscuits are my downfall. I can't seem to just have one and be satisfied, if I do I want more. So for the moment the target is none.
From an exercise point of view things are going very well and for the last five months I have ran a total over 200Km each month and my pace and stamina keeps improving. I completed two half marathon distances in January and I plan to complete two more in February.
Yesterday I managed to resist opening the tin of shortcake in the larder and finished the day with an 1100 calorie deficit. I hope to do the same today.
