flaxseed's Logboek, 15 apr 09

I've picked myself up, dusted myself down and climbed back on the wagon. OH at hospital yesterday for his 4 month Lymphoma check. We can breathe again - everything fine. Had hoped that the next check would be 6 months but consultant decided 4 months again as he has had shingles.

Weather dour today after almost 2 weeks of glorious sun. The haar from the sea has shrouded us in mist and I can't even see shepherds cottage across the road. Hopefully the sun will come out and burn it off. The drive to the hospital yesterday was lovely as the blossom is just bursting. The blackthorn and wild cherry in the hedgerows made them look all pink and white. Didn't really take it all in because of the tension but was hoping to go out today and soak up all the beauty. We did go and look at the Field of Hope when we came out of the hospital it was magnificent - more daffodils than you can imagine.

Diet back on track but weight still up. I think some of it is probably water and the rest caused by Mr C because of the lack of veg.

I've got my head round my horrible pics. I've used it as a screensaver as a reminder to keep myself in line!
