farizasai's Logboek, 18 feb 21

Hi. So I started working out first time in my life in October 2020. My weight was 136,6 lbs. First two month I was working out under my personal trainer control. Because I’ve never been to gym before and had no idea how to use all this machines.
I have naturally athletic body type. I always had some biceps, kinda flat belly abs good shape. So decided to eat and work out to get a dream body 😍
Right now I work out on my own. 80% of progress is a meal plan. And that’s my routine:
Intermittent fasting- 16:8. I’ve been doing it since July 2020. The days (like weekends) when I drink wine or eat not very healthy food , just the next day I fast for 20 hours.
And it’s been3 days I am in 18:5
58,3 kg Tot nu toe verloren: 2,4 kg.    Nog te gaan: 5,3 kg.    Dieet gevolgd: Redelijk Goed.

18:6. I eat almost everything. I go to gym 4-6 times a week. All depends on my mood. So 3 times I work with weights and every other day I do cardio - precious run program for 45 min from Equinox. 1 day - legs, gluts and abs day 2 day- whole body 3 day- abs, back, shoulders, arms. Each work out sessions lasts up to 1 hour.

Hum, I'm not sure to know what these 18:5 and 18:8 ratios are. Number of workout days versus number of fasting days?

You remind me of my first days using a gym - had no clue how to train and use these machines either. Unfortunately I think some people who are less in shape feel complexed using gyms because of social comparison and for now feeling confident how to use those, while I think these people should be the most proactive in doing so. I'm still learning about my body and new training knowledge and techniques, but I found exercises that are more challenging than machines and got almost completely departed from them now. All I use is a weight vest, a pull up bar, rings and a dips bar. But I miss using heavy weight for legs exercises (gyms closed in our area because of the virus).
