binkytexas's Logboek, 11 nov 19

Bummed. This is the first gain since I started FS. I know half a pound could just be water weight, but I was hoping for a loss.

Although I kept to my calorie limit all week, I ate differently than before. White rice instead of quinoa...chapati instead of whole grain toast. Maybe the carbs are making me hold on to water weight.

I love chapati so much...I wanted to put it into my menu rotation. Hmmm.

Will keep to my calorie plan. Protein, fresh veggies, a little fat for cooking/dressing, and a daily starch. Will have to see which starches matter this week!

I eat all kinds of carbs, water weight doesn't bother me, it's just temporary. Hope tomorrow is better for you. 💛💚💜

Thanks friends. Had a cup of split pea soup tonight...just smelled so good in the slow cooker. Roomie tempted me. He doesn't cook often and usually foods I don't eat. SOOO, I'm not officially "cooking" tonight, but may do some veggies anyway. Still under potassium limit. :)

I'm not quite sure how you have never- since starting FS- had a gain. Please tell me your secret! My weight chart looks like mountainous terrain and it's rarely from doing something I shouldn't have done- so- take comfort in knowing how very little this means. Could be anything!

Please measure if you aren't already. The scale isn't the only way to gauge loss.

You never know. Water weight is funny. Depends on what foods we eat, even sodium is another thing that holds water weight.

I do measure most things..meat and oil especially. I don't always measure things like kale and cabbage...I estimate a cup. I will make an effort to do so.

I think FullaBella meant to measure yourself... ?You might be getting "smaller" (more fit/toned) even if the scale isn't currently reflecting it through weight loss.
