Any kind of fruit crumble swimming in *warm* Bird's custard -- a decadent dessert I first tasted when visiting my English pen pal's family in 1978! Birds's is now available in the United States, but Glenda still brings me a small tin whenever she visits. (We've traded visits Across the Pond every three years since 1997. I'm supposed to go to London this year, but her partner is being treated for metastatic cancer, so we're playing it by ear...)
