Judyrose1997 Just read all your posts, last night and this morning. Wanted to learn about your travel with Keto and IF. I have only been on this WOE from around Thanksgiving time for health reasons, but it has been helpful already. I am amazed at your discipline as I am only averaging 16/8 or 18/6 on IF and cannot imagine fasting more than about 24 hours, as I get hungry often. It's okay where I am at but I know the health benefits are with the longer fasts. Yes, it was like reading a book, but maybe long term, one of the best books I have ever read. Your stalls were/are amazing, and give me courage for the future. Yes, that is the best word I can use for the hours I spent reading your posts: courage, which is what I really need. I plan on following this way of eating, modified eventually, for the rest of my life. My motto is: “I want to be independent, I need my brain.” I am 77 years old, and am fiercely independent. I hope that fierceness will translate to stay the course. Did you know that dementia is at 48 to 50% now? Your life has helped me, and I thank the Lord for you.
