ok so I was a bad girl yesterday. I was sooo pissed off about the diet and everything else. But, I got it under control tody. I'm hoping to keep the carbs low, the calories at a decent level, add some exercise. But I'm certainly convinced nothing has worked on this since May, and I think I may be stuck here forever.
I'm not ready to give up the fight, but I am certainly considering a visit to the bariatric surgeon at this point. I don't think eating less will help but for some reason people lose weight with the lap band and other stuff. Maybe that's all I have left for options.

not a bad day! I finally made the decision and followed through. I parked in the garage at work and instead of riding the shuttle over, I walked. it's about a mile from where I park to where I work. and I did it after work too. I did not walk up the stairs to the 6th floor of the garage. I am nowhere near ready for that. But I think it was a step in the right direction.
I still miss my scale. I'm nervous, I don't know what is going on and I'm sure I'm probably gaining weight at an insane rate LOL.
I am tracking what I eat though and it doesn't look bad. still need more veggies!

I did it. 20.06 carbs, 1672 calories, and almost enough veggies! the only thing I should have done different today was trade one of the atkins bars for 3 nc of veggies, but...all in all, not a bad day.
still miss my scale.

O.K., day number one without the scale, it's weird that I am so dependent on that thing. I did better today, I ate more veggies, made loaded broccoli for dinner, had spring mix for lunch. Still not anywhere near 14 grams of carbs in vegetables but i'm adjusting. I did eat 2142 calories today, not good, I think that is way too many but we will see. I know I made a few mistakes today. too much cheese...way too much...I think total 6 ounces! And I probably didn't need to eat the pork rinds...but I wanted to crunch something.
Tomorrow is another day, try to keep it around 1500 to 1800 calories and cut way the heck down on the cheese.
