Feeling defeated. I can't do this. I cut out sweets, sodas, and I'm keeping my calorie intake well below 1200. That's no problem. But no beef, bread, flour, cheese, sausage, potato, whole milk, eggs... everything having to be low fat, low carb, getting criticized for rolling my baked flounder in panko mixed with parmesan to add some texture... Nope. I don't eat much. So what I do eat is going to taste good or I'd rather go without eating. I'll just stay fat. I wish you all the success.

I made homemade chili. It's mostly tomatoes. That's healthy, right? Well, maybe not the beef. But moderation is the key for me. I can't do a lot of restrictions anymore. It's not sustainable.

I've got to be honest. This tastes awful. The baby corn tastes like potting soil smells. And the rest of the veggies have no taste at all. Can't recommend the Great Value stir fry vegetables. All I ate was the chicken I added.

Can someone please explain why all preservatives should be avoided? I understand why not to eat highly processed junk, but I'm not seeing the connection between weight loss and the preservatives in my can of tuna. Even fresh meat is injected with a "solution" (preservatives and flavor enhancer).
Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking it. I just don't understand it. Or how it's feasible to completely avoid them unless you're raising your own meat and produce.
