An awesome scale weekend. Spent Saturday at the movies and a birthday for a 6yr old.

Sunday, I ended up playing another round of "What fits out of my closet now". So a friend of mine who has back issues sent me a steel boned corset that she could no longer use awhile back. I had been avoiding trying it on thinking it wouldn't fit right or would have to have extra lacing on it. But lo and behold, it fit. And there was about 3ft of extra lacing. O.O With only an inch spacing where it laced up. I was stoked. Then I decided to see if some of the dresses I had in my closet would fit. I got into 2 little black dresses. One of them was a 2x and the other was a size 16. The size 16 dress, I had bought in January as a goal dress. And it fit and zipped up and everything. ^_^ So it was an awesome boost!

After my dress up party it was gym time, and I did almost everything my trainer had set for me to do. Minus some lat stretches that made my shoulder feel like it was trying to pop out of socket. I've been having some issues with it no sitting in the socket right and had to have the chiropractor adjust it back to where it was suppose to be over a week a go. So I didn't want to risk it.

Anywho, my thighs and glutes are sore today. And I go in for an upper body workout tomorrow. -_- Seriously a love/hate relationship with the gym. I complain, but I'm all antsy if I go too long without a workout now.

Oh and I attached the screenshots of my workout yesterday. The train heroic app is what we use.

Moving on down! Was not expecting more of a loss this week honestly. I waiting for my weight to stall out again. -_- Been happening a lot the last month or so.

I think strained my back/tailbone at the gym yesterday or compressed the area around the herniated disk I have in my lower back. Money is also on that it was the dead lifts that did it. But I have a chiropractic appointment this afternoon that I'm hoping helps. Also worked through several stretches to try and ease so of the discomfort. Days like today is when I wish I could still take ibuprofen. So making do with Tylenol and ice packs. Hot shower is also on the schedule for after dinner.

Dinner tonight will be Pork tenderloin, pink eye peas with rice, and a toss up between tomatoes and cucumbers or green beans. I won't be tracking it in the app, but as always, I'm mindful, and I can't eat much anymore. I'll be prioritizing protein, and have only a little rice.

I also got a 1 mile walk in this morning in my neighborhood. I woke up at 3:30 and couldn't go back to sleep and the temp outside felt pretty mild with a bit of breeze, so a nice walk right after it got light enough was nice. Saw some lovely plants, a couple squirrels, a few neighbors out walking as well. All in all it was good. In hindsight, it might be what set my back to hurting worse. -_- So definitely going to take it easy the rest of the day.

I hope everyone had a Happy 4th of July. :) We ended up with 4 adults and 9 kids at my house on the 3rd for dinner and fireworks. We had ribs, corn on the cob, baked potatoes, fresh pineapple and chocolate cake with butter pecan icecream for dinner. Most of the kids enjoyed the fireworks. My youngest daughter and my friend's daughter dislike the noise of them. We also went to the river on Sunday and spent about 5hrs swimming. Hubs and my oldest kid ended up with sunburns (after I kept reminding them to reapply sunscreen and they did not) Teenagers and men never listen, I swear. All in all a good weekend. Now I need a weekend to recoup from the holiday weekend. lol

I also did an hour a the gym on Monday, upper body. Even upped some of the weights for a few of the things I do, and increased reps on some of the others. Today is Violin lessons for the eldest kid, then taking it easy. Maybe a light workout later or some yoga since tomorrow will be leg day at the gym.

A couple weeks of ups and downs. Coming off 3 medications for high blood pressure caused some fluid retention and I went up about 5lb on the scale. It's come off and the scale has continued to show a downward trend. So easing on towards getting out of the 300s. Super excited about it!! I hoping to see the 200's before the kids go back to school in August. I think that's a pretty reasonable goal too. Just depends on if I hit any more stalls or not.

Last week was also a struggle with my back and nerve pain. I ended up having to talk to both my surgeon's office and my Primary care doc before getting a shot of toradol to help. Took a few days to really start feeling better and a lot of time with ice packs. Then took it easy at the gym after that since I didn't want to push my back too much. Now I feel like I'm back in the swing of things.

I got a new yoga mat in last Friday too, its an inch thick and just what I needed to do some of the floor work at home. My house is all tile so no soft carpet to work out on. So after the chiropractor today I'm going to try a core/ab workout and see how that goes. It's the only area that doesn't have some soreness from the gym yesterday.

Good Morning FS friends. My scale is not happy with me coming off my bp meds, probably dealing with a little water retention right now. But my bp has come up from being very low and has been in the normal range since I stopped the meds last week. I feel much more like myself. The exhaustion and dizziness is gone and I have more energy. Now if it'd only stop raining so much everyday.

Today is a family gym day. Hubs and I do workouts set by the trainer on our own today and my oldest child is participating in the strength training camp that my gym is running this summer. My youngest hangs out in the little kid area they have with her tablet and a snack. So all in all it will be a good day.

It's also Father's day so I'm planning steak, potatoes, and salad for dinner tonight with a little garlic bread. I'll mostly be eating steak with a little bit of the sides. I mostly eat only protien now with some fruit and veggies thrown in and a pinch of bread here and there.

Very soon I'll have to go through all my closet and clothing and remove what I can no longer wear. I'm debating what to do with it. Sell it, donate it, give it away. I'm torn between the options. I know I could finance new clothes by selling my old stuff. I was wearing a 2x shirt yesterday and I really need to purge all 5x and 6x stuff from my closet. It's all waaaaay too big now which is a great feeling.

And they just shut my gym down because they lost power. The weather has been really nasty here the last few days. Torrential rain, tornadoes, high winds, power flickering.

I still have gym first thing tomorrow morning though and again Thursday this week. I'll also see the chiropractor tomorrow after the gym.
