Happy Day Y'all!
I've started going to the fitness center at lunch because walking outside is rough with the humidity here. I am getting reacquainted with a stationary bike but it is VERY uncomfortable on my backside! What to do? I have tried the recumbent bike but find it doesn't track on my fitness app and I work more with the other one. But OOOOOF!
I have been trying some new things. I did some jogging and arm crawls in the pool last night. Definitely felt that after putting in some exercise earlier in the day. I am proud of me and like the place I'm in.
Headed to the Farmer's Market in the morning. Have a great weekend Everybody!

Hey there ~ I hope everyone is having a good week.
I'm making progress in being more consistent with workouts, water intake, and food. That last one is an ongoing battle, but I'm doing better than I remember ever doing in the past. I'm really enjoying walking outside and working physical activity into my day whenever I can.
I made black bean tacos for lunch this week and that has been a pleasant surprise. I used to think that food that was good for you didn't taste good. I was so wrong!
I walked three miles yesterday (had to really work for that last mile!) and then took our son to the school playground for a meet and greet with a potential swim coach. It went very well, everyone got along great, and liked each other. YAY! As a bonus, I was able to break my 10,000 step goal.
Today's goals involve feeding turtles at the Nature Center, weather permitting. Indoor plan is possibly the YMCA indoor pool. I'm a bit nervous about the pool. I will weigh the possibilities and decide. Having a neurodivergent child is a game changer, so we are learning together.

Hellooooo FS!
I'm seriously considering a water fast like once a month? Not sure how to get started? Any guidance would be appreciated!
My brain is in such a different place these days and I feel like I'm doing a better job of focusing on being present in my life instead of battling food related thought chains. I'm sure there will be ups and downs, but *little by little!
I'm excited for the weekend, we all need some rest and I'm hoping to get the little guy out of the house and moving! We have turtle food, so that may help get him to the Nature Center!
