lotus2009's Logboek, 07 jan 10

28th day on Atkins.Yesterday I recorded the entry past midnight so it still shows 7th january.Today was an ordinary day...I ate no more than 20 carbs and drunk water.But I dont know why the scale shows 160 pounds.It means I somehow gained 3pounds and its depressing.And overall life sucks.Its frustrating when the expectations are not fulfilled.And apart from being passive in things,I would also try to lower my expectations to minimum,may be that would help.I need to study and pass and I should not let any negative thoughts to distract me from this mission...Tomorrow will be better.Better than today.

If you were on program, then you know the gain is just water. It could be from sodium, hormones, medications, stress, sore muscles from exercising etc. Lot's of reasons we gain when we doing everything right. Drink some extra water and keep going. It will dome off.

Women fluctuate up and down daily, don't let this get you down. Stay focused and determined, let nothing get in the way of what you are trying to accomplish.

I second that Shia34 from day to night I notice wieght change like 3 pounds sometimes. High heel shoes...

If TOM is visiting soon, that would account for it. Also, we normally fluctuate a couple of pounds every day. Weight loss is NOT linear, even on Atkins. Don't stess over it. If you are eating 20 NET carbs, 12-15 from veggies and getting enough water, all is good. It will come off fast.
