I'm going to a funeral tomorrow and all my black pants, my skirt and tops are swimming on me. They just look silly, like I'm wearing someone else's clothes. I'm down 75 lbs, so that's not too surprising. I haven't been out much due to my illness, but the other night I went up to Whole Foods to pick up some supplies for my fast; first outing on my own that wasn't a doctors appointment! I thought, well maybe I'll stop at Marshals and see if there's anything for the funeral, but then decided, no, I don't have the energy for that. As I was shopping in Whole Foods where they have a little organic clothing kiosk, I noticed a rack of black dresses - 30% off. Of course no plus sizes, but they did have an XL, so I bought it. That is the first time in maybe 20 years that I've bought something that wasn't in a Plus size - and it fits! Simple black dress for $20. that I found by accident at the supermarket! Serendipity. And I may not be shopping in the Plus Dept. anymore!

Congratulations, isn't that wonderful when we can see results,...you have worked hard to get there,... sorry the highlight of the moment was to purchase for a funeral... But the news is great never the less... keep up the good work... proud of you.

Yes! Great going! I love shopping, especially for new clothes! I use it as an incentive to continue eating properly! You have done very well and you are an inspiration to a lot of us on here, Erika.

It was a little uncanny to need a black dress, but not be well enough to go shopping and there they were by the supplements! Like it was meant for me! Who would a thunk it! Thank you everyone for your kind words! The funeral is for my Sister in Law's mother, who I did not know well. Mostly I'm going to support my brother's family.

Cool Beans Erika! I'm into 1x tops now too ....they fit a little snug around the boobs...but I don't have an issue with that :) now in size 16 pants too...it's a wonderful feeling! I could do a 14 in the waist...but my hips n thighs still demand a 16 :)

I put on 46" waist for the first time in 7 YEARS today. They are still an inch too snug. When I started, my waist was a 56". So I have lost 9" off my waist. And now the belly fat is going faster and faster. Less fat to burn in all the other places. I can actually look down and see my feet without bending over.

I was working around in the kitchen yesterday and my skort fell off into the floor. Guess it doesn't fit any more!!

Knuckles you are doing wonders for your health and waist! My waist is slower to shrink, but it is down 2.5" in the last 4 months since I've been here on FS. I notice it most at yoga class; I fold up much more these days!

Rhontique, that's funny! I put my cell phone in my pocket today, but had to remove it, because it was pulling my baggy pants off! But I am not going to buy any summer clothes, because the summer is winding down and next summer I'll be in yet a smaller size!
