Down again this morning. This can't last. I'm kissing my blue line now, oh so close. I haven't eaten anything out of the ordinary or much less than usual, so it must be worry and anxiety that has made me drop so drastically. Just hope I don't go up again.
Woke to a really heavy frost this morning. Everything covered in sparkly white. It was minus 4 when we set out for the hospital and was still well below freezing when we arrived at 10.00 am. OH has had a bone marrow sample taken from his hip bone so he is limping a bit at the moment. We should have a phone call to go for his liver biopsy under the scan next week. His consultant is 90% certain his lymphoma is on the rampage again but needs the biopsy to make sure it is and its the same strain. He thinks he may be able to have more chemotherapy of some sort depending on the state of his organs as he is almost 80. Whether it will control it remains to be seen as the older the person the worse the response. Once he's had the biopsy we have to go back on 5th Jan for the final results. More waiting....
My five for today
Trees clothed in sparkly white
Watching the swans and geese sliding on the loch
The expertise and knowledge of our consultant
Kind and sympathetic MacMillan nurses
Being able to go away for Christmas and presents all wrapped and boxed up ready to pack in the car
Little Holly fast asleep on Emily's legs
Hope you all have a restful sleep like this
