I'm not generally a big fan of two and three day weigh-ins. I don't entirely trust them. There's a lot of daily fluctuation involved. If it goes up you can get unnecessarily discouraged. If it goes down, too easily over-confident. Still, given all that, the scale says I've lost 3 pounds since Monday morning so I'm taking it.
3 pounds seems like an awful lot in three days. And, truth be told, I was a little surprised I'd jumped back up to 299 on Monday. Probably some water weight - daily fluctuation at play here. 296 does seem closer to what I'd expect.
So... My goal for this week was two pounds or a weekend weigh-in of 297. Already achieved and exceeded that. Shooting for 295 on Sunday morning.
