4 DPO hysterectomy where all my rusty and busted lady parts were removed. I’m 48, no kids and so ready to live my best life for the rest of my life free from issues and pain.
I’m recovering super speed; what else is new 🤷♀️ Stopped the oxys day 2. Walked to Starbucks yesterday. It’s not far, really just in front of my apartment building.
I do have some abnormal odd shaped swelling I’m having looked at on Monday. The woman on the nurses line had the nerve to suggest it was keloids. Uuumm 🤦♀️ no. I reported swelling and nothing about scar tissue. This was my 6th abdominal surgery of some kind so I know a thing or two about recovery, swelling and keloids. Try again.
Anyways: recovery is going well. I’m back at the 187 and will be mindful of my eating especially since I can’t exercise. I’ll get back to my flow soon enough. I’m not stressing it.
Also 4 nights free from hot flashes and heatstrokes 💃💃🤣
Mentally I’m not thinking about my missing lady parts. They were crappy anyways. One of the reports said (from pathology) “cassette 11: possible right ovary” 😂😂😂 yep. That’s the condition of my insides. Full of lesions, scar tissue, cysts, fibroids and not where they should be. Thankfully everything came back benign and non malignant 🙏🙏🙏
So yeah; I went in as lady with style and grace and came out with just as much style and grace. This won’t define my femininity. This won’t define anything. I’m still me. I’ll be a better me, a happier me and pain free me. I’ll be a much freer me; a lady with style and grace.
