achickrmt's Logboek, 20 jul 11

Okay so after one month of walking 2-4 miles in this insane heat int he morning and then hitting the gym in the evening with my husband and doing the couch to 5k program I can officially say working out sucks. I can say this sucks because I refused to go near the scale so I would have so much more to be thrilled about when I finally stepped on the scale. My jeans are fitting better, my legs are feeling stronger and my baby pooch (that annoying lower belly that won't go away after having a child unless you were a size 2 when you got knocked up or are a supermodel/actress) was finally starting to shrink a wee bit. So I got out of the shower this morning and dried my hair because I want to make sure there wasn't even a chance of my hair weighing me down. I step onto the scale drop in just my underwear and look down and to my disappoinment I gained 3oz. My sweet husband tried to be encouraging, 'honey your body is changing, and you are building so much muscle and I am so proud of you for going to strong'. My response? 'Shut up'. So my new plan? Tweak my diet, and continue torturing myself until I finally see some improvement on the scale. Otherwise I'll be that lady in a giant moomoo on the news who just took a sledgehammer to every scale at her local Target. Keep a lookout!
