Another great day in the books. First we had a new lady join us in our workout class. And I was just telling her a little about myself, like we do when we have new people. I told her how in February I weighed 280 pounds and so far I had lost about 96. And she said, "Oh you're the one that has lost 100 pounds!" Almost...almost!
Second, I had a check up today with my doctor. And everything is fantastic! Weight: 183 (97 pounds lost), blood pressure: 121/75 (it was 151/100), pulse: 64 (used to be 101). He was super surprised and happy that I lost weight during the holidays. He said to keep on doing what I have been doing, and not to let anyone try to derail my progress. He also told me that I even inspired him to keep getting healthy. I love when people tell me that, knowing that I inspire others, it keeps me going.
And best of all, my one and only daughter's 10th birthday is this Sunday, but we decided to celebrate tonight at Pizza Hut. When I got ready to make her cake I was going to use applesauce for oil, and egg substitute for the eggs. But I figured what the heck it's her birthday cake! So I made it according to the package directions. And yes I had a piece of birthday cake! So blessed, and truly happy.
