I have not been weighing in I feel like I was getting obsessive. Honestly I'm not even sure why i was going so hard... last time i was down to 115, i still wore larger pants and had my c-section shelf... at GOAL weight. i cant "diet" away my mom bod... id need my hips reset and a tummy tuck 🤣 why are we so hard on ourselves after kids? maybe ill try to focus on healthier choices, forget the scale?

I vote health over scale every time!

Tone up your body. Lose inches over scale. After baby, everywhere I looked were ad's, pic's of perfect flat stomachs. Look around, it isn't reality. Ya, I know it's not fair. Healthier choices. Good choice.

I second Writingwyo! The world is full of lies, photo shop, & stereotypes! No thanks! Been there, done that, had the anoxia card to prove it, the scale my idol. Goals for me now, remember in who’s image I was created, that I am fearfully & wonderfully made, and that my children are a blessing to me, not marks to remove from my body erasing proof that miracles were knitted inside it. ♥️♥️♥️ You are absolutely amazing and I’m so thankful for your posts and transparency 🥰♥️🎉

Healthier choices sounds like a great focus. The scale is a bit of a false friend

Hi Kaylinrenee! I want to throw another vote in the "ditch the scale" bucket (but not entirely). Have you ever considered strength training? Strength training changed my body in ways I never thought possible - and I'm a 40-Y.O. mother of two! Your body has done amazing things, growing and nurturing tiny humans - maybe it's time to give yourself some grace, enjoy the accomplishment of reaching your goal weight, and switch gears. Sprinkle some of that amazing mom strength in the gym!

When my kids were little I started with Beach Body at home, 30 minutes, 4 days a week. It was a great option for me when I was constantly shlepping littles. Your schedule is tight, I get it. But to be more direct, building muscle mass in your hips and glutes will tighten up your pelvis, and building core strength will help you overcome the muscle trauma from your C-section. You're right when you say you can't diet this away. I would encourage you to research options for building muscle that fit your goals and your schedule. Peace and blessings!
