I just started a new job today. I sliced up 4oz of New York Strip and quick pan fried it up, salted it, wrapped it in tin foil and never got the chance to finish it. I ate a half a banana before I left for work and just now I just finished a small cereal size bowl of salad.
My new job is in a different town and I stopped in at a sports bar to grab a decent salad or chopped steak and my single glass of wine. People were waiting to get in so I turned around and headed home.
I wasn't starving so that was a good thing. And very rare. Since my decision to think thin, think healthy I am convinced my praying is paying off. "Please help me feel successful so that I am successful. Amen."
So I'm right back at it tomorrow morning, working 8am to 6pm. Once again, I am so booked up I don't get a lunch hour. I must be crazy.
Tonight I'm bringing a bowl of chili up to bed with me with a side of deli bruschetta. I'm beat.
If I can say anything to cause you to go two days in row without overdoing it, I will. I'm cooking for my family for Easter. There will be twelve of us. I am determined to treat my dinner plate like it's Tuesday. HAHA. Wish me luck with that. (I already have a plan. If I go for seconds of ANYTHING I will jump up and start cleaning the kitchen. After that I will be taking kids for horseback rides.
