Last night I went out to the house boat with my husband and children. He invited he's best friend and his wife. I knew that this would be a little hard since I was going to be around them when they were drinking. I took a gal of water and said if I wanted something to drink WATER was all that I was drinking. I felt it was a little hard, In fact I was making the kids plate with hot dogs, bun, beans, mac and cheese and found myself whining about wanting a bun. I then started to pout and my husband gave me a kiss on my nose and said NO! He said, Your doing a great job honey. I stayed away from anything that could tempt me but it still was ruff seeing how I use to drink a few beers with the guys when fishing.
When I woke up this morning I was so proud of myself for not giving into the temptations that I was feeling. I know I would have been SO upset if I would have. SO far, I know there are somethings in my diet now that I can improve on. But I am doing the best with what I got and can afford.
