Moomin... My last memory of us is when this pic was taken, Aug 2018 during a visit. I loved sitting in the kitchen chatting about nothing, drinking coffee from our Moomin cups. Him and my mom were together since 1986 and while it wasn’t always roses and all that pretty shit he was the only father figure I had. I appreciated him so much more these past few years. My mom is of course devastated and due to a few reasons, covid the main, I can’t travel for funeral. I’ll go to support my mom when I can, luckily my sister is not too far away.

I'm sorry for your loss and your mom's too. I hope the memories of your Dad at heart will pull you through. I miss my mum & stepfather every day. They passed within 9 mo. of each other. These times are even harder due to Covid for sure. Take care dear. Thank you for sharing.

So sorry for your loss. Such a great memory to have though and so wonderful to have that photo to look back on. I wish we'd taken some pics the last time I saw my father before he got very ill - I still have the memories, just wish there were some real pics to go with them. Take care.
