Congratulations Steve 👍My uncle was in the Guard and my aunt used to sew all his promotion insignias by hand for him He was in the Guard for years before he retired He was aMaster Sergeant years ago He is 93 now and I am looking forward to Veterans Day to chat with him 💕🙋🏻‍♀️😊🙏🏻

Yes G, very proud moment. I’m pinning his new rank on his uniform here and I am just beaming at him. Sad that he’s leaving his 20 year home base to a new batallion but he is just made for the new position and he is excited.

All of you guys are so kind! Thank you I can’t wait to show my husband this thread. That’s not against fat secret rules is it :-) Steve is really happy and so that makes me really happy. It takes him away from home every month for four days but it’s a little sacrifice. Hug and kiss a veteran tomorrow if they want it anyways LOL my husband spent a couple of years over in Afghanistan and as he tells it he was helping women and children. That’s what perhaps I love so deeply about him, is his ability to put others before himself. I’m whipping up all of his favorite food so that I Can show him my appreciation.
