More pictures of Alaska and hoodoos (some were very big). The animals were not as afraid of humans as we were of them. Many were just crossing the road and we had to stop to let them cross.

The bear (is it a Grizzly?) is so close to the fisherman. I love bears but really!!!!! I admire his poise-well I guess both bear and man get credit for good manners.

Beautiful! I just love the wildlife! It does lkook like a grizzly as it has the hump on it's shoulder's. Awfully tame for a griz though! Were you visiting or is this where you live? Gorgeous no matter which!

WOW....10 years ago I lived at Mile 0 of the Alaska Highway....Images such as these were always a treat....The bear does look like a grizz... and he's waaaaay too close for comfort....fo me anyway...lol....Thanks for bringing back GREAT memories of what was once *home*....BEAUTIFUL pics....huggggies Deb

When I saw the bear pic I thought maybe the man wasn't aware it was behind him! Had fun picturing what happened when he glanced over his shoulder! :) That bear was waiting for the guy to catch a fish for him, I'll bet!

pretty face, this was a tour that I just come back from. We spent 7 days on the ship and two weeks in Alaska and Canadian Rockies. I liked the land part better than the ship part.

OMG! I love your pics guggy! of course, I'm not sure if I would want to be sitting on that wagon being pulled by the dogs...I would much rather ride their backs!! yyeeee hawwww!!
