TGIF!!! It's soooo rainy and nasty here. It took me like an hour to get to work b/c of the flooding.
My sis-in-law is still in the hospital. She contracted pneumonia while there and had a bad reaction to the meds they gave her. They had to sedate her and she now has a breathing tube. They did manage to stop her contractions so the baby has some more time to "cook" in her mama's belly.
Tonight is my friend Steve's b-day. We are going to Max Brenner's, it's kind of new, apparently the food is subpar but the chocolate is phenomenal. That's what we are going for. ;)
Tomorrow morning we are getting up bright and early to go to a flea market to try to sell some of the stuff I got for free using coupons. I'm trying to go visit my friend in Cali for NYE and the money we make will go towards that (Salem's flight will be free due to a companion flight deal so we just need to earn money for mine).
Afterwards we are going to take Izzy and Noah so Salem's bro can go to the hospital to be w/ Betty.
Sunday we are going to my first ever estate sale! I've never been to one so I'm curious to see how they work.

MAX BRENNERS!!!!! SO FRIGGIN GOOOD!! We went to the one in Union Square, NYC and shared something.. I can't remember what it was, but we got to choose two different types of ice cream. I got the dark chocolate, and it was out of this world!! When we went to Vegas, we were walking around the Ceasers mall and saw a sign for a Max Brenners, so we decided to have our dinner at BOA Steakhouse like planned, and then go the M.B. for dessert. So we rush through our dinner, run down there, and... it wasn't open yet!!! LOL It was opening the next month! So bummed! So anyway, have a great time there - like I said we didn't have the food either, but it all looked really good. And about your SIL - good luck to her, the sedation part would scare me a bit, but I'm sure the Drs know what they are doing. Ooh, and what flea market are you going to? The Lamberville one is HUGE - we have gone several times on our way up to Peddlers Village and New Hope. Ok, I've rambled more on here than my own journal!! Hi Chris! We are dry and sunny here in Chi-town! Wish I could send it your way. It is going to be a gorgeous fall day here with a high of 72. I hear it will get cold and no so nice over the weekend though. So sorry to hear about your sister-in-law...hope she is feeling better and that baby is ok...That is so scary. I hope That your sister in Law starts a speedy recovery.Its horrible that they gave her meds that she had a Bad Reaction to! What part of Cali are you going to visit!! And GOod Luck at the flea market tomorrow!

Oh no! How scary for everyone. I hope she is ok and that the baby doesn't have to come out before fully cooked. ( I always use that word "cook" about babies, too.) Hope you enjoy your dessert tonight. And I've always been curious about estate sales, too. I always see stuff from them on Ebay (vintage clothes and jewelry) but never been first hand. Hope you find some cool stuff.

I hope the weather gets better for you guys and I pray that your sister in law will be on the mend soon. That is very scary. It's good they could stop the labor. Never heard of Max Brenners but will definitely have to look it up now. Have a great weekend Chris!!

Hi Chris! I hope your SIL is all right. Damned hospitals. You go there for something and you catch something else. I just hate them. Hopefully the pneumonia won't affect the baby. I was reading your previous journals, how did you do with the pomegranate? It is sooooo good. Eat the whole thing, the seeds too. If you really don't like to eat the seeds, you can always put the fruit (without the peel of course) in a blender and make smoothies. If you have a juice extractor it's even better. What is an estate sale? I can't wait to hear more about that. Enjoy your weekend!
