I'm sick and didn't feel like cooking, so I made myself a shake with pea protein for dinner. It tastes, like well, pea protein. Very uninspiring. I think I may donate the second half to my dog, save a few hundred calories and go to bed under my calorie allotment for today. We had a big wind here on Halloween night and it blew away all the beautiful fall foliage. November came in looking skeletal and bare and gray. The upside is that our panoramic view of the river has opened up. Where it once was a leafy wall of river bank woods with a few glimpses of sparkling water, now we have 180 degrees of brilliant sun reflecting on the long arch of the river. Nice change!

Thanks, I've been babysitting for my grandbaby who brings home colds from daycare. She gets over them quickly, but they live on at grandmas house!

Us too Erika, I love our view of the river. The colors this year weren't as vibrant as last year, but still a pretty fall.
