Omg you guys my manager just got fired!! I’m freakin out 😱 I don’t know what is going to happen 😭 My manager keeps our store going. Our sales are terrible though so it doesn’t come as a complete surprise. I don’t what is going to happen to my job 😰

Thanks guys It’s pretty heartless to just fire someone because of sales. Our store is in pristine shape which takes a serious amount of dedication to keep up with. They don’t even have someone to replace him with. And you’d think they’d wait until after Christmas!! 🥺

I agree with Gz9. I would also suggest maybe you start looking elsewhere for employment. You may never know what happened and if there is not another side of the story working for a company that can fire an employee for no reason at all is not where you want to be... and applying for that position would be a bad move. It is all about the bottom line and unfortunately a manager may not be in a position to increase sales no matter how pristine and well managed the store is.....just my two cents.

In life it is always important to recognize a bad relationship when it effects your health and well being in so many ways. So many on FS talk about unhealthy career and personal relationships and how either living with those or changing those impacts their health. Take charge of the situation and recognize what may be happening is not in your control. Take control and chamge the situation on your timeline and on your terms. Stick it out and see what happens or make a change. All the best to you!

It’s so weird being at work without him. Good managers are hard to find. I won’t be store manager anytime soon and I don’t want that kind of responsibility. I don’t love my position but I am extremely grateful for it.
