Another fly-by journal... or should that be fly-bye... as I fly off today to see my Mom. I'm feeling good, prepared to stay the course sugar, dairy & wheat free, and eager to see her & my friends and other family "back home". And, while I know there will be tense, stressful times (Mom is in the early stage of Alzheimer's), I also know I have the tools & support (thanks to all of you!) that I need.
So, to start the day right, I begin in prayer --
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
And will pray, breathe, log and post (as much as I can), & express this one day, meal, moment, bite and/or emotion at a time! xoxoxo
