iv been taking a teaspoon of psyllium husk in a glass of water every morning when I wake up and it keeps me full the entire day until dinner time. maybe give that a try.

Thanks guys, I'm really going to try everything, I am really battling. I don't know what happened I was fine all along until I tried the 12 hour fast from 6am to 6pm, I did it for three days, didn't lose any noticeable weight and straight after that just couldn't control my appetite and cravings. Not sure if it's a coincidence or it triggered something.

Fasting is for some and not for others. Im definitely not a faster! I would have the same reaction as you having. I wouldnt be able to control myself in the non fasting periods.
Stick to the basics. All the other stuff is frills and spills. 1. 2,5 to 3 liters of water a day, 2. cut all sugar and 3. Cut all starches.

low carb high fat. if you eat enough healthy fats you'll stay full for longer and shouldn't have any cravings. I have 2 meals a day, no snacks. now and again I'll have a tsp of peanut butter if I feel like snacking

Thanks Marianne, would love to do low carb and high fat diet but I love love fruits, bananas, naartjies, grapes. It helps feed my sweet tooth. That's why I would battle to keep it up.
