This last fortnight has been the best I've had for ages. Weight loss could be better but at least its going in the right direction. I'm finding it hard because OH is eating like there's going be a famine. Its caused by the steroids but ignoring things he's eting that I love is hard. I manage fine at mealtimes but its all the snacks he's adding in. He hasn't even put on any pounds either.
Weather has been very mixed- torrential rain and beautiful sunshine, more like April. I've been up and down the steps getting my washing in and out. I keep thinking it must be good for me. I'm still continuing with my decluttering. I just can't believe the stuff I've hoarded. I unearthed a shoe box of castors from under my bed - what I saved them for I have no idea but there were 7 so what they came off I haven't a clue. I've thrown away bits of ribbon and bows I've saved from parcels 'just in case they might be useful' too and disposed of chipped pots that I thought might house a plant outside at some time. I've got so much more space now and as space is at a premium in our small cottage I've now got room to collect more!
I'm feeling really good and feel that I must be kind to myself to stop sliding down into the pit again. To that end, I've had my hair done andtreated myself to a little something every now and then. This week its been a pretty china beaker for my nightly low cal chocolate drink.
I must go and fill it now as its bedtime. Have a good week everyone
