Oh, another thing that is helping me lose weight is that I went to the Dr. and my thyroid (I have hypothyroidism) is totally out of whack! Started back on my hormone therapy and it's hopefully helping my metabolism straighten out :)

I had the same exact problem... Did you know that one of the main reason the thyroid gland is affected this way is fluoride? It's added in the tap water as well as in tooth paste and cookware. The fluoride displaces the iodine the thyroid gland needs in order to function correctly. Back in the day, doctors would tell patients who had hyperthyroidism to take a bath because the fluoride in the bath water would be absorbed by the skin and the fluoride would hinder and lower the thyroid gland in the process. I've done a lot of research over the years... and it seems that this is a major problem for the population, hypothyroidism leads to lack of energy, lethargy, depression and weight-gain.
