Today I started my first day on South Beach-Phase 2. I'm starting at phase 2 because I've already spent at least 5 weeks on Atkins Induction. I weighed myself this morning, so I can track whether or not the switch has a positive or negative effect on my ability to lose. I am pleased with myself for having stuck with Atkins for 6 weeks, but felt it was far too restrictive when adding back good carbs and was missing fruit, whole grain carbs and certain dairy foods. I'm not really thrilled with having to switch to low fat cheeses, but will do my best to control it.
