baskington's Logboek, 10 sep 18

I slept in for the first time for about a week. so much better to have a full nights sleep.

I had a big juicy steak first thing this morning. I was going to wait until I was really hungry but felt lazy again today and decided to relax as I was doing my big tanks and eat like a queen.

Fortunately this steak was a good one. Feel pretty good. I was a little lite headed this morning and eventually grabbed a 5 hour energy after argueing with myself no coffee. Drank half and I am better. I will have a caffeine withdrawal if I don't have something. way too much coffee the past few days.

worst part is I hate not being able to go out and workout. this forced exercise vacation is a pain. Have to find things to do that keep me occupied.

My weight so far is holding steady. same 126.8 this morning even though I am eating 300 calories more and not exercising.

Drinking lots and lots of water.

If nothing else turn on the tv or grab a book ;). Forced idleness drives me batty, but I’m an excellent procrastinator when things need to get done 🤪. I ate 200 less per day and gained 0.6#! Same the week before (but I’d eaten 350 per day more than the week before that). I’m a good 200-250 per day below my tdee so I expected to lose 1/2# not gain it lol. I could so do this diet if I didn’t need to eat the fat. A juicy steak sounds excellent right now!

well the body needs fat for fuel as protein is not enough to satisfy. but you can get fat in other ways if you ever decide to try it Peeperjj. fortunately for me I do like fat in my steaks, I don't enjoy ground chuck much but the store meat just isn't the same as being able to raise your own.

So I just gotta wonder... if you drink HALF a 5-hour energy, are you energized for 2.5 hours, or are you only half energized for 5 hours? LOL. Happy Monday! The steak sounds so wonderful right now. I love steak...

Ha! it just offsets my caffeine withdrawal for a few hours. I just can not have the coffee, cream and sugar. the coffee and cream cause me fogginess. I will either cave this afternoon when I am done with my work or I will drink the other half to keep the headache at bay.

Happy that you found some good meat! Sorry about not being able to exercise but better safe than sorry - glad the weight isn't moving!

Kaysealove I grill mostly and if in a hurry I will pop it in a frying pan and quick sear it, I like mine medium rare. If I needed additional fat I used to put butter on top and let it melt on the steak, yum!
