Just back from 3-day trip from LA to rural MA to work on selling my mom's house (moved to assisted living). Travel just makes it hard to exercise and eat right, but I did ok.
On a bright note, we're adding new rescue to our pack. He'll be a great "little" brother to our existing dog. Looking forward to a relaxing weekend of house-breaking a German Shepard from the shelter system while on-call for one of the local hospitals.
Best way to take care of yourself is to focus on helping someone else. Last week that person was my mother, today it's a dog and maybe some patients.
